Ovation Tickets is a subsidiary of Ovation Productions - headed by veteran promoter Renen de Guia who is its President & CEO. Ovation promotes all genres from Taylor Swift to James Taylor and from The Beach Boys to Backstreet Boys. While others outsource, Ovation is the only concert promotions company that directly buys, produces, and handles all production of its concerts ‘in-house’, including all production of its radio, TV, print and social media advertising. Ovation has expanded the markets for international artists in the Philippines by pioneering in all major and minor provincial cities in the country aside from Metro Manila and has been awarded the Trailblazer Award by Filscap.


De Guia started promoting international artists beginning with WEA Recording Artist and teenage superstar Leif Garrett in 1979. Ovation Productions celebrated it’s 40th year in 2019!

Ovation has also done special events like the IPTL (International Premiere Tennis League, the YouTube FanFest, and other big corporate events.


Renen de Guia also owned the 80’s iconic TOP40 T-shirts sold in major department stores nationwide, ladies’ teens wear Bangles; a store called Everything Rocks plus 20 Pop Station Records stores located in various malls.  All have since closed due to changing market directions.

Ovation evolved from single proprietorship in 1979 to corporation in 1991. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer is Celinda Pe de Guia, a B.S. Chemistry Graduate from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Their son Gonzalo ‘Bogie’ de Guia handles Production, Road Management, and Security.


The De Guias have recently gotten into media by establishing Tap Digital Media Ventures which owns and operates cable channels Tap TV, Tap EDGE, Tap Sports, Tap Movies, Tap Action Flix, Premier Sports Network 1, and Premier Sports Network 2. Tap DMV owns exclusive broadcast rights to the UFC, F1, FIFA World Cup, and other important major programs. It also has its app TapGO which gives streaming access to Tap’s channels and its contents.
