All-4-One’s debut song “So Much in Love” burst through the charts in 1993 with their fresh spin on a classic tune that introduced their smooth sound and vocal chemistry to the world. It quickly rose to the No.4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but it was their follow-up single “I Swear” that was their ticket to international superstardom, spending consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song became one of the longest running songs of the era and was a cultural phenomenon that earned them the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. “I Swear” was also named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th century.

 

Their hits include “I Can Love You Like That”, “These Arms”, “Beautiful As U”, “Someday” from the soundtrack of Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, and “I Turn To You” from the Space Jam Soundtrack, later recorded by Christina Aguilera. Their debut and sophomore albums both solidified their place in R&B history by going multi-platinum, and earning gold and platinum certifications across multiple countries.
